Hey there! We're a brewery based in the South Bay of Los Angeles (Torrance) looking for a motivated, team oriented, hard working person that wants to get into the beer game (or continue in it) and has attention to detail. This is a part-time position that can expand into a full-time gig if you're the right person for the job.
Job Duties include:
- Cleaning kegs
- Filling kegs
- Following all production SOPs set by the Head Brewer
- Move kegs from cellar to cold box
- Build and manage orders for delivery in timely fashion
- Proper track data of kegs and beer
- Attention to detail (this is important)
- Coordinate with others when help is needed
- Maintain clean environment; clean up after yourself
- Milling grain for brew days
- Running the bottling line
- Record keeping
- And more
Requirements:
(We are an equal opportunity employer but candidate must be able to perform requirement tasks of the job)
- Efficient work habits
- Knowledge of brewing process is preferred
- Must be able to lift 60+ pounds regularly over head onto grain mill. Also must be able to put 1/2 bbl kegs onto pallet for deliveries
- Must be 21+
- Must be able to stand for entire shift
- Must be able to work in hot and cold environments
- Must be able to work in wet environments
- Must be able to consistently bend, crouch, and kneel
- Must be able to consistently use hands and wrists
- Must be able to use a forklift and manage it in tight areas
- Must be able to work safely around equipment
- Must be willing to work overtime if needed per Head Brewer or owner
- Must be able to Multi-task
- Must be able to weekly kegging of beers happens in timely manner (this is an important one)
