Job Title: Production Lead, Operations Director, Head Cidermaker
Hours: Salary Position subject to week long availability
Job Description:
Fermentation management for all products
Oversee all cleaning and CIP regiments
Oversee all QC processes and procedures
Inventory management and procurement/ordering with warehouse lead
Preparation for packaging and overseeing all packaging staffing
Oversee all equipment, including the ability to troubleshoot and maintain
Assist in staff scheduling and team management to hit target production volumes
R&D for new products
Basic understanding of troubleshooting all equipment to include electrical, hydraulics, glycol and plumbing systems
Recording all production volumes/packing logs for all regulatory submissions
Requirements:
BS fermentation science or chemistry and 3+years brewery/winery experience, or, 8+ years brewery/winery experience
Excellent Interpersonal communication skills and written language skills
Clean, organized and methodical work ethic
Self starter with mental capacity to create efficient workflows for a team
Passion for cider/beer/wine
Ability to work on your feet all week
Ability to adapt to working outdoors in Central Texas
21 years old or older
Must be able to lift 100 pounds
Self Motivated
Must live within a 30 mile radius of Austin TX
