Electric Bicycle Brewing, voted best new brewery by The Growler and Georgia Straight, is looking for a Cellar-Person / Assistant Brewer to continue to build on the brewery’s success.
As a Cellar-Person / Assistant Brewer reporting to the head brewer, you will be responsible for:
• General cleaning and brewery maintenance
• Monitoring, reading and recording vital information such as gravity, pH, temperature, pressures etc.
• Performing CIP procedures and handling chemicals
• Keg cleaning and keg management
• Racking product throughout the brewery
• Packaging finished product
• Assisting the brew team in all aspects of the brewing process
• Brewing beer
• Assisting in forecasting and inventory management
• Being an awesome human
In our first year of operation Electric Bicycle brewed over 100 batches and close to 40 sku’s. A passion for beer experimentation is preferred. Individuals with strong brewing backgrounds who can demonstrate their dedication to learning and improving techniques and thinking outside the box will be considered.
Candidates must be in good physical condition and able to lift 50lbs.
