We are King's Court Brewing Company in Poughkeepsie, NY. We just opened in August of 2018, but have 3 medals under our belts so far. We are a small 7 Bbl system with 7 FVs and 1 BT. We're distributing locally at the moment to supplement our taproom sales, but are looking to start distributing in NYC as well. That will hopefully mean we will be maxing out our system shortly here and would love some help.
We're looking for anyone from Entry Level to a Brewer who is the right fit for us and will help us continue to make quality beer, innovate and grow sustainably.
Based on experience the position will eventually include everything from scrubbing the floor, cleaning tap lines, CIP tanks, Running the keg washer, Racking off beer, Canning, and Brewing. Literally there is not a task you will not be doing as this is a small place. The owner is currently the only person running brewing operations at the moment - former GABF medal winner, Cal State Fair winner, Graduate of UC Davis Master Brewer's Program etc... The other owner runs sales, marketing, events ect...
We think this is a great opportunity for anyone who really wants to learn the ENTIRE brewing process. We expect this person to be mature, responsible, a hard worker, a problem solver, mechanically inclined, and creative. You also must be able to lift 55#'s.
We're looking to salary someone full-time. That full-time will be split into either 3 X 12 hour days or 4 X 10 hour days Mon-Weds/Thurs. And that 3 or 4 day week will change weekly based on brewing schedule/needs. Salary commensurate with experience.
