    Free Will Brewing Company is seeking a Packaging/Logistics Team Lead

    Free Will Brewing Company, Perkasie, PA, is a growing production brewery specializing in making inventive, flavorful ales and lagers. We are looking to add a full-time leader to our team.

    Summary

    The most qualified candidate for this leadership position will become part the Free Will Brewing Company team and will report directly to the Operations Manager. The team leader will manage and participate in all facets of packaging and logistics
    operations including but not limited to canning, kegging, bottling, order picking and shipping.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    • Manage, train and mentor subordinates
    • Participate in interviews for new hires
    • Handle all aspects of the Wild Goose MC-250 filler with 5th head upgrade
    • Monitor all key quality points including maintaining low oxygen pickup, ensuring proper seaming, verifying proper date coding and correct labeling applications
    • Perform equipment cleaning (CIP) and maintenance
    • Handle order logistics for our wholesale customers including picking, wrapping, and loading
    • Work with our off-site taprooms to manage proper inventories
    • Communicate with contract partners for proper packaging splits and timing
    • Perform keg filling
    • Maintain paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
    • Monitor raw material inventories
    • Actively find improvements for the beer and our processes
    • Must be willing to pitch in on tasks outside your key responsibilities



    Experience and Skills
    • 2 years’ experience on a packaging line, canning preferred
    • 2 years’ experience of brewery experience prefered
    • Strong mechanical aptitude
    • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
    • Flexible work schedule
    • Ability to multitask and manage time while being detail oriented.
    • Must be able to move 165 lb
    • Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours per day
    • Must be competent with MS Office, Google Docs
    • Must be able to operate a forklift (training provided)
