    WANTED: Lead Packaging/Cellar Person

    JOB POSTING FOR HAYMARKET BEER COMPANY IN BEAUTIFUL SOUTHWEST MICHIGAN:
    AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY - LEAD PACKAGING/CELLAR PERSON POSITION

    JOB DESCRIPTION
    Haymarket Beer Company is looking for an experienced and hardworking individual to fill the role of Lead Packaging/Cellar Person. This position is for our Bridgman, Michigan location which has a three vessel 30BBL Brewhouse, 30/60/90BBL fermenters, and an ABE LinCan canning line.

    REQUIREMENTS:
    -Minimum 2+ years of experience is required in the following areas: Cellaring (clarifying, CIP, racks, CIP, carbonating, etc.) and packaging (canning)
    -Strong organizational habits, a self-motivated work ethic, and good critical thinking/problem solving skills.
    -Forklift experience a plus
    -Experience with Orchestrated Beer (ERP) a big plus
    -Ability to work both alone as well as with the rest of the team.

    DUTIES:
    -Perform all aspects of cellaring (clarifying, CIP, racks, CIP, carbonating, etc.)
    -Lead packaging runs from start to finish and direct assisting team members
    -Safely follow detailed SOPs
    -Perform regular maintenance on canning line
    -Maintain organized, sanitary and spotless environments throughout the brewery.
    -Clean, sanitize, transport, and organize kegs and cans
    -Clean draft lines
    -Clean some more
    -Organization of brewery equipment, supplies, and ancillary items
    -CIP (clean-in-place) of fermentation vessels, brite tanks, and other equipment while following all safety guidelines.
    -Assist with external events such as on- and off-premise tastings, beer festivals, and other marketing related events
    -And a finally more cleaning…

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    -Ability to stand/walk on hard surfaces for an entire shift
    -Willingness to work in wet/hot/cold conditions
    -Ability to work safely with potentially hazardous chemicals
    -Ability to move up to 160 pounds (roll/hand truck) and lift up to 60 lbs.
    -Adherence to all PPE (personal protective equipment) requirements and follow all SOP and safety protocols without question

    BENEFITS/PAY:
    -Paid Time Off
    -Medical available after 90 days
    -Salary between $40,000 - $50,000/year
