Primary Responsibilities
- Increase wholesale distribution volume
- Ensure that retail and distributor accounts have a positive brand experience
- Routinely reach out to accounts to ensure their business needs are fulfilled
- Ensure that wholesale orders are fulfilled and recorded for compliance in a timely manner
Additional Job Duties
- Manage accounts with the goal of gaining increased distribution and driving rate of sale through promotional activity and consumer awareness
- Weekly communication with customer accounts and management to ensure customers needs are being met and weekly activities are planned and executed efficiently.
- Visit a minimum of 10 existing and 10 new potential accounts per week. Record results of customer visits in customer resource management database.
- Act as a brand ambassador during events including, tap takeovers, wholesale account tastings, beer dinners and local festivals
- Delivering kegs to local Putnam County accounts
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 58lb 1/6BBL keg and maneuver and place 160lb 1/2BBL kegs
- A valid driverÂ’s license as extensive car travel is required
- Candidates must be a US citizens or permanent residents not requiring work visa sponsorship
- Candidates must not have felonies on record
- Candidates must demonstrate examples of being a self-starter and possess strong organizational skills
- This position requires computer knowledge and proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have a basic understanding and use of selling skills, and the ability to express oneself in an articulate, succinct, and professional manner
- Basic understanding of the three-tier system and wholesale beer taxation in the state of Tennessee
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role at a brewery or distributor
- Ability to use Google Drive and Microsoft products for tracking customer interactions
- This position requires a strong work ethic, captivating interpersonal skills, passion for good beer, beer nerd knowledge of beer styles, and the ability to grow business at the retail and distributor level
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Formal sales or marketing education
- Night and weekend availability
