    We are a newer brewery up in Prince George, BCand are currently looking for another brewer to add to our team!

    Trench Brewing is looking for a Brewer to join our growing team! As a young, small, and quality oriented company we are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic who take pride in the product they produce and the company they work for. Although experience in the field is not a requirement, it would be considered a strong asset. If you feel you possess the qualities we are looking for please send a cover letter and resume.

    ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE:

    -Familiar with the brewing process.

    -Punctual.

    -Self motivated.

    -Positive.

    -A Team Player.

    -Able to work without supervision.

    -Physically fit and able to maneuver 70 kg kegs as well a lifting 25 kg repeatedly.

    -Enthusiastic about great craft beer!

    -Able to handle the pressures of meeting time constraints.

    -Flexible with their work schedule.

    -Able to work in a cold wet environment for extended periods of time.

    Job Description:

    -Wort Production

    -Managing and Monitoring fermentation

    -Yeast Management

    -Sensory analysis and Quality Control

    -Cleaning

    -Washing Kegs

    -Filling Kegs

    -Operating and Maintenance of packaging equipment

    -Performing CIP operations on fermentation vessels, conditioning tanks, brewing vessels, and packaging equipment.

    -Racking beers from Fermenters to Conditioning vessels

    -Carbonating beers and testing saturation levels of CO2

    -Organizing warehouse and performing regular inventory count

    -Draught system maintenance

    -Representing the company at events

    -Giving Brewery Tours

    The following are not required but are considered assets:

    -Serving it Right certificate

    -Fork Lift Operation license

    -Class 5 drivers license with a clean driving record for the past 3 months

    -Occupational First Aid Level 1

    - WHMIS Certificat

    -Previous brewing experience or formal brewing Training from a recognized institute.

    SHIFTS:

    5 x 10 hour shifts Thursday to Monday
