  • Ravinia Brewing Sales Representative (IL)

    Ravinia Brewing is looking for a Sales Representative to lead our sales efforts in the Chicagoland territory. This person is focused on developing and maintaining relationships as our rapidly growing brand expands. The Sales Manager will work closely with our Distributor and the brewery. As the distribution network increases, we see this position’s territory growing, as well.


    Required Duties:
    • Develop long-term relationships with new and existing accounts
    • Identify potential new accounts and follow through to achieve sales goals
    • Execution of weekly and/or monthly/quarterly-based goals and objectives
    • Conduct regular meetings with Distributor and their representatives to monitor sales and continue growth
    • Visit accounts regularly to present products and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction at all accounts
    • Prepare and send regular marketing communications to our existing clients, including following up with non-responders
    • Submit appropriate information into CRM for management such as call reports
    • Assists and resolves customer complaints in a timely manner, notifies management of problems and suggests corrective actions.
    • Becomes the authority on Ravinia brands, and has a strong awareness of those of our competitors
    • Train distributors & retail accounts on all brands
    • Schedule and participate in tastings, promotions, and special events that may occur any day of the week or after standard business hours



    Qualifications & Experience
    • Minimum 2 years' experience in alcohol sales is required; sales experience within the craft beer industry preferred. Able to provide a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
    • Knowledge and passion for the craft beer industry required
    • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and administrative skills
    • Possesses outstanding time management and prioritization skills
    • Must be independent-thinking and hard-working
    • Experience working with corporate/chain accounts is highly desirable
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed including nights and weekends.
    • Must be able to represent Ravinia Brewing in a responsible and professional manner at all times.
    • Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
    • Competitive nature and eagerness to grow
    • Ability to lift 50 lb kegs and maneuver 165 lb kegs
    • Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, G-Suite
