Job Summary:
Firestone Walker Brewing Company in Paso Robles is seeking an experienced Full-Time Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. The Supply Chain Analyst manages the production forecasts and is responsible for reporting and analyzing department and company data to improve operations.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Specifically, the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
• Manage, analyze, and execute production forecast and update based on actual sales usage, trends, promotional plans, new product launch projections, and revised sales plan
• Manage and maintain the production schedules through collaboration with the Production team
• Develop and present forecast accuracy and performance reports to identify problems and opportunities and make recommendations for improvements to the demand plan
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to understand demand forecast drivers to ensure that current and accurate information is used for production and supply chain planning
• Collaborate with the Purchasing team to ensure proper raw and dry material purchase orders and forecasts are submitted
• Assist and coordinate the cross-functional actions and tasks involved in meeting the necessary timelines to launch or transition new products
• Provide reporting and analysis on department and company KPIs
• Develop and manage inventory and sales reports for the BTC and Sales teams, in order to improve and maintain distributor inventories
Required Qualifications:
• BA/BS college degree required
• Working knowledge of MS Access and MS Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision making skills
• Strong communication and facilitation skills required in order to work with multiples teams and departments
• Ability to work independently to manage multiple projects to meet desired deadlines
• Demonstrate initiative and work in a collaborative team environment to address complex issues
• 2+ years of experience in Planning / Supply Chain preferred
• Experience with forecasting and forecasting methods preferred
• Experience with SAP preferred
