By All Means brewery is currently looking for Beertenders and Servers.
We are looking for leaders in craft beer hospitality that have a passion for beer!
Must have extensive knowledge of beer styles and food pairings and a desire to make every guest a regular by educating and entertaining.
Our beertenders are responsible for providing a positive, warm and welcoming environment for our guests. In addition, they educate our guests about our beers.
The ideal candidate is a craft beer enthusiast who has a sincere desire to contribute and help build our brand. We are seeking a candidate who is trustworthy, professional and comfortable taking initiative and acting independently.
Job Responsibilities:
Greet customers at bar with positivity and professionalism.
Provide an overview of our beers and answer any questions that guests might have.
Pour beer with proper amount of head and in appropriate glassware.
Take customers’ food order, work with any dietary restrictions as requested by guests and communicate effectively to the BOH team to ensure accuracy.
Ensure all items are entered into the POS system and complete sales transactions.
Ensure flawless execution of filling orders and the payment process.
Ensure an exceptional customer experience and whenever necessary resolve concerns using good judgment, professionalism and courtesy.
Maintain an exceptionally clean environment for our guests including wiping down all surfaces, sweeping, mopping, clearing away all empty glassware.
Ensure and instill a safety-first environment for both customers and employees.
Ensure responsible serving practices.
Break down bar at the end of the night, making sure all SOPs are followed.
Leave the bar clean and ready for the next shift.
Change kegs as needed. Lifting kegs may be required.
May be asked to train new hires. Leading by example for new staff is essential
Required Experience / Education:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
Some bartending experience a plus
Experience with POS systems a plus
Some knowledge of and passion for craft beer and the brewing industry
Ability to work on a team and contribute in a positive manner
Strong communication skills
Comfortable speaking to customers
Outgoing and inviting personality
Availability to work all taproom operating hours including nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to lift 55lbs and to move 165lb kegs
Excellent math skills
Cicerone Beer Server certification preferred
TIPS certification required
