Wyoming Whiskey is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and positive person to supervise our bottling—everything from helping to dump barrels and coordinating schedules with our Head Distiller and Operations Manager, to supervising the bottling staff and keeping the equipment in great, clean running order.
This is a fulltime permanent position at our Kirby, Wyoming distillery, and will require someone dedicated to quality. We’re growing and want someone who will grow with us!
Specific duties include:
--Screen, train, schedule and supervise temp/PT bottling staff
--Supervise and work on the line to ensure quality and production standards
--Set up, operate, clean and maintain all bottling equipment.
--Work with Head Distiller to dump barrels, manage tanks, and perform quality/compliance testing
--Coordinate shipping and receiving of finished goods and supplies
--Conduct regular inventory and ensure materials availability
--Perform preventative maintenance and recommend improvements
--Other duties include loading/unloading empty barrels, filling and warehousing barrels, and general distillery support as needed.
Requirements:
--2 to 3 years supervisory experience, preferably in a packaging environment.
--Great interpersonal skills
--Ability to make decisions, solve problems, and take initiative
--Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, perform repetitive motions, and lift up to 50lbs.
--Able to operate a forklift and pallet jack
--Able to work hard in a production environment with variable temperatures and noise
--Must be 21+ years of age, hold a high school diploma/GED, and have a clean driving record
--Beverage experience highly preferred
--Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry safety/quality standards highly preferred
