Join LIC Beer Project in a leadership role as Packaging Lead.
SUMMARY:
The Packaging Lead will work closely with our Director of Operations to efficiently and effectively package beer. The ideal candidate will have strong personal leadership skills, communicate effectively, and go above and beyond the duties assigned, while contributing to a positive work environment.
WORK EXPERENCE:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a production brewery of 10,000 bbls or more production per year.
BA/BS in related field. Brewing Science education preferred.
Mechanical hands on experience is a must.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Leads all day-to-day packaging activities, canning and kegging to ensure a high-quality product.
*Oversees all aspects of our Codi Canning line, while following SOPs.
*Strong understanding of packaging equipment and ability to operate, troubleshoot packaging line issues.
*Maintains daily packaging records for both kegs and cans. Perform finished product inventory counting.
*Perform sensory analysis on all packaged product. Maintain reports on quality.
*Maintain a safe and sanitary workspace.
*Perform preventative maintenance on all packaging equipment.
*Assist and cross train with cellar team to perform BBT cellaring. Including tank CIP, SIP, transferring, carbonating, and general cleaning.
Shift:
Sunday - Thursday
