  • Bigger fermenters 1st or last in the glycol loop?

Does anyone have an opinion on if the bigger fermenters for double batching should be closest or furthest from the glycol bath in the loop? Thanks

If your system is big enough and correctly set up, it shouldn't matter where in the system you fit it as the header and return systems should have sufficient flow and pressure differential irrespective of where they are.

I would put it last I suffer from the same problem I have 4 3bbl before 4 1bbl and the 1 bbl will raise temp if I crash the 3 bbl. or just get a bigger chiller and the right size lines. It’s on my wish list

Absolutely correct Dick. We have the biggest rigs in the houe [3 each 120 BBL] last on the line and they do just fine. People would also be amazed at how small a pump this can be done with.
If things are set up correctly it should not and will not matter.
