  • Air Conditioning

We are opening a second location that will have garage doors in the taproom. We just got back from Ashville, NC and went to many breweries that had garage doors leading to the taproom. We noticed that most did not have air conditioning. It was 87 degrees outside and they had an abundance of fans, but no AC. We did not feel uncomfortable, but we just assumed AC was a must. Our first location is air conditioned, but no garage doors. We are going to start build out soon, and don't want to install an expensive air conditioning system if we aren't going to use it. We are located in Ohio. What are your thoughts/experience with this?

We are in Indiana. You need AC, if not it gets way to humid in the summer and the bugs get out of control. We also have doors we open when its nice, but the AC is only on one side of the building. You will need central air for your heat, so you might as well have AC as well.
