As a new company based out of West Salem, Oregon, Xicha Brewing [chee-chah] [broo-ing] provides a Latinx cultural experience by creating community around beer and food.

We are a small group committed to fostering a positive workplace focused on creating community through the products we make. Xicha Brewing currently distributes mainly in Salem, Oregon area with few accounts in the surrounding markets. We are looking to expand our wholesale program and are looking to bring on an experienced, enthused, brand-focused team member to help us expand our reach.

Is this you?

Have a background in beverage sales? An interest in Hispanic/Latino culture? If so we’re looking for someone that is excited to jump on to a new team to help us grow. This person will be our go-to on all things wholesale. Primarily, they will be expanding our reach through sales of our beer products to on/off premise accounts, increasing product placements, establishing new accounts, promoting and conducting tastings, and killing it with those brand ambassador skills for Xicha at events around Oregon. This is a full-time gig, and our hope is to find a long-term compadre who seeks to grow with Xicha Brewing.


Minimum 2 years beer, wine, or cider sales experience are preferred but not required

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration or related field

Proven sales track record

Computer literate with proficiency in CRM/Contact management platforms

Strong organizational skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Events planning experience

Good public speaker

Beer knowledge

Goal-oriented & self sufficient

Clean driving record

OLCC permit

Able to travel at least two to three days per week and work weekend events


Account Relations

Maintain consistent market presence across primary market

Create and maintain relationships with on and off-premise accounts, grow sales in existing accounts

Educate distributor reps about our product and pricing information

Ensure correct shelf pricing

Communicate upcoming seasonal releases

Coordinate limited release distribution and other special requests with key accounts

New Accounts

Identify strong potential accounts

Approach new accounts with product information and samples

Keep detailed notes on contact information and status of each potential new account

Follow through on sales opportunities with management, distributors and their sales representatives

Ability to close sales opportunities

Sales & Account Management

Track and analyze territory sales numbers to direct and guide personal activities and efforts

Responsible for weekly sales recaps

Track inventory and minimize out of stocks and/or product shortages

Keep organized notes and files on all accounts and contacts

Brand Ambassador

Be a good representative of Xicha Brewing through professional and positive interactions with customers, other breweries, and accounts

Continuing beer education for accounts and consumers alike

Event Management

Responsible for all outside events, brewery festivals and promotions

Organize and lead beer tastings and trainings for on premise accounts

Set up and staff consumer events and promotions

Coordinate with event hosts

Educate the public on Xicha Brewing

Set up and take down attractive booth displays

Attend industry events to represent Xicha Brewing and network within the industry

Industry Trends

Follow industry trends and opportunities across the Northwest and specifically Oregon

Gather market information and customer feedback regularly

Communicate and inform management regularly

General Responsibilities

Attend Xicha Brewing tastings and staff education trainings
