Sales and Brand Coordinator - Forbidden Root Brewery
The Sales and Brand Coordinator leads marketing + communication efforts for both wholesale and brewpub teams in Illinois, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Oversight of social media, on- and off- premise events, public relations, point of sale/merchandise, and Brand Ambassador teams. Responsibilities include:
Online Content:
Ownership of all social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn; maintain timely and relevant content on all platforms
Oversee content creation for all Forbidden Root accounts, inclusive of Chicago and Ohio brewpubs
Author and circulate monthly newsletter
Branding
Coordinate with in-house design team/outside artists/brewpub team to create and maintain point of sale materials and merchandise including but not limited to: postcards, stickers, buttons, glassware, sunglasses, case stackers, shelf talkers, clothing, etc.
Maintain festival supply inventory including jockey boxes, jockey box covers, keg buckets, event box materials; act as point of contact for all major events and festivals in all markets
Sales
Develop and execute market plan to achieve sales goals within designated territory
Build new and grow existing relationships with retail partners through regular communication and account visits
Utilize industry data tools to identify new placement opportunities and expand existing account base
Maintain shelf standards to increase brand visibility and increase velocity
Increase brand awareness with retailers and consumers through events and promotions
Maintain frequent communication with wholesale partners to ensure follow through on commitments and increase share of mind
Participate in new market launches which may require occasional out of state travel.
Leadership
Recruit, hire, train and manage Brand Ambassador teams in Chicago, Ohio and Wisconsin; coordinate with sales manager on scheduling for sampling events, on-premise events and festivals
Drive ideas for in-house and outside events; see event ideas through from start to finish, use KPIs to measure success; utilize P&L forms to track budget for events
Maintain clear, regular and open communication with internal teams and external clients
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years’ experience in craft beer or other CPG industry
Passion for craft beer
Ability to regularly lift cases and maneuver full kegs when required
Strong attention to detail
Understanding of the three tier system
Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Valid driver’s license and reliable source of transportation
Flexible work schedule with ability to work nights and weekends as needed
Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator preferred
Experience managing social media or content creation preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated photography skills
Successful background working in a team environment and managing people
