  • Bottling on Meheen from Keg

Hey, per the title. We've had to empty a brite earlier than planned into kegs, and now we need the beer in bottles. I've searched but it doesn't seem like anyone has posted any experience of this.

Has anyone had any luck, or would you free up a tank and transfer back in?

We had to do this once.

Set up your kegs with multiple jumpers, one to the other to the other and push with CO2 from the back.

Put an empty keg on the back and pressurize it to the normal bottling pressure. This will act as a big buffer/pressure tank so the dispense pressure during bottling will stay constant.

Once all kegs are empty, replace with new ones except your buffer keg.

Make sure your kegs are PLENTY cold.

Your waste will be higher due to foaming issues. You need to have a way to keep your kegs as cold as your brites, or you will have a mess. Generally speaking, it is not advised to fill from kegs.
