Job Description:
• Assist in the supervision and assign task to temporary labour
• Stage equipment and stocks materials for various stations on the canning line.
• Preparation and operation of all canning line support equipment.
• Continually monitors operations and adjusts labor accordingly to ensure targets are met.
• Performs quality checks and production checks at predetermined intervals during canning process
• Performs cleaning of general facilities, canning equipment, and CIP of tanks and lines, but not limited to.
• Performs accurate documentation and recording throughout the packaging process.
• Follows all SOP’s, GMP’s, maintenance plans and maintains sanitation in packaging areas.
• Able to safely operate a fork truck and various pallet jacks for unloading and staging materials.
• Fills in other duties to support packaging staff
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• 2years packaging line, beverage production, or warehouse experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow direction, be a team player, and be a team leader is required.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment operation, maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred.
• Must have good organizational skills, ability to multi-task and provide accurate documentation.
• Flexibility in scheduling, position will require flexibility in hours.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Time Management, ability to follow instructions and multitask while maintaining focus.
• Ability to lift 25kgs.
• Ability to collaborate and work with a team
