CELLARPERSON – JOB POSTING
West Side Brewing is very excited about expanding our production operations to meet the growing demand for our product and is looking for the right person to help. We are looking for a cellarperson to join the team and help with just about everything involved in production. This person should possess the ability to work in a fast-paced organization and effectively on a dynamic growing team. Duties will include:
-Fermentation management andpost-fermentation additions
-Transfers of in-process and finished beer
-Packaging of finished beer into both kegs and cans
-Cleaning kegs
-CIP of process equipment
-Quality checks of in-process and finished beer
-Maintaining a clean brewery
-Maintaining accurate records
-Operating a forklift
-Adhering to SOPs and safety standards
-Assisting with other areas of the brewing operation and the business as needed
Experience working in a commercial brewery is preferred but not required. Other requirements for the successful candidate include:
-A complete understanding of the brewing process
-The ability to lift 55-pound loads over head
-The ability to lift full ½-barrel kegs
-The ability to work standing for long periods in hot or cold environments
-Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
