    PRODUCTION LEAD
    Reports to: Operations Manager
    Classification: Full-time, 40 hours/week (7:30a-4:30p, M-F)
    Compensation:
    $35,000 per year (salaried)
    Weekly coffee allocation
    Paid vacation - two weeks
    Select paid holidays for all F/T employees
    Paid sick/emergency leave for all F/T employees

    JOB SUMMARY
    Already established as one of the strongest brands among the Cold Brew Coffee category,
    Slingshot Coffee Co. is entering a critical growth stage with wider distribution, requiring the
    expansion of production capacity, while maintaining the highest quality standards for exceptional
    coffee for which Slingshot has become known. The Production Lead position will have an
    important team-oriented role in the crafting, packaging & shipping of all Slingshot Coffee Co.’s
    products while leading, inspiring and having a passion for driving Slingshot Coffee Co.’s mission
    & values. The position requires reliability, obsessive attention to detail, strong communication
    skills, a supportive & positive attitude, self-motivation, and self-/team-/product-awareness. The
    Production Lead has accountability for adhering to guidelines and advancing/sustaining
    continuous improvement to deliver quality, efficiency, and safety throughout the production
    process. Success in this role relies not only on the ability to perform the job functions, but a
    personal drive for growth, genuine enthusiasm for leading people, and the ability to fully engage
    with the Production Team and Operations Manager.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
    - Minimum 2 years experience in a production supervisory role
    - Production/manufacturing of food or beverage product a plus
    - Hands-on experience with food safety & quality control standards a plus
    - Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    - Team-building skills

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
    Leadership
    - Directly reports to Operations Manager
    - Be a champion of the Slingshot brand both in and outside of the work environment
    - Lead by example in all areas of responsibility including, but not limited to: professionalism,
    attendance, attitude, camaraderie, communication, productivity, workspace maintenance,
    safety, and commitment to quality
    - Collaborate with Operations Manager to establish, communicate, implement and meet goals
    for self and production staff
    - Assist Operations Manager to train & develop new Production Associates according to
    Standard Operating Procedures
    - Assign duties and provide direct oversight for all Production Associates, providing direction,
    motivation & feedback in order to effectively lead and meet established productivity, quality,
    safety, health, environmental & morale goals
    - Ability to identify challenges for the team and individuals, and work toward appropriate
    solutions
    - Ability to personally accept direction and/or constructive feedback, learn from experience, and
    move toward improvement
    - Maintain meticulous attention to detail to effectively follow all health/safety, sanitizing,
    cleaning & quality guidelines at every step of the production and distribution process including
    equipment, warehouse, and general employee areas in compliance with Slingshot Coffee
    Co., regulatory and certification standards.
    - Document, discuss & sign off on daily checklists
    - Maintain flow of communication with Ops Manager for team and production needs and
    variances
    - Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
    - Ability to perform general production and warehouse duties including, but not limited to: safely
    loading/unloading incoming/outgoing shipments, bottling/filling/canning all products, date
    coding, properly packing shipments for UPS/USPS, properly using all necessary tools to
    complete tasks
    - Other duties as assigned

    positive outcomes
    - Obsessive attention to detail
    - Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds and stand for 8 hours in a non-climate-controlled
    warehouse
    - Eagerness to take pride and care in the organization, work, team and product
