Position: Brewer/cellarman in Lafayette (Boulder County) Colorado
Reports to: Head brewer
Rate: Based on experience

Odd13 has a great work environment for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual. Experience in a commercial brewery is required, with extra preference given to experience in a packaging brewery. Variable shift schedule (nights and weekends possible) depending on production needs. We are looking for someone who adheres to and advances a working culture with safety in mind. This is a full time position (32+ hours/week).

Responsibilities

• All aspects of wort production on a 30 BBL brewhouse
• Following all SOPs set forth by Odd13 Brewing
• Handle all phases of cellaring, fermentation, and packaging.
• Cleaning and sanitation. Tanks, kegs, brewhouse, and floors.
• Monitor and record process times, DOs, gravities, pH levels and temperatures
• Managing transfers of finished beer and adequate carbonation
• Harvesting, cell counting, and re pitching of yeast
• Cleaning and filling kegs
• All aspects of canning sessions on our Wild Goose canning line
• Driving a forklift to receive and load trucks as necessary
• Routine troubleshooting and maintenance
• Following established safety procedures

Job Requirements

• Ability to lift 55 lbs to shoulder height repeatedly
• Must be able to lift/move 150 lbs occasionally
• Ability to stand for long periods (8-10 hour shifts)
• Experience operating a Wild Goose canning line is a plus
• Experience with sour beers and mixed fermentations is a plus
• Basic computer skills
