Looking for a part time Assistant Brewer / Cellarman in the Los Angeles, El Segundo area.
Responsibilities and Duties •
• Monitoring fermentation, yeast handling, dry hopping, transfers, etc.
• Maintaining, Cellaring and Packaging process.
• Assisting in wort production, grain out, and brewhouse cleaning
• CIP of brewhouse, fermenters, barrels, transfer packaging equipment.
• Adhering to brewery standards of operation, quality and safety standards.
• Performing additional cellar and brewhouse tasks as required.
• Representing the brewery at events and festivals as occasionally needed.
Qualifications and Skills
• Flexible work schedule
• Passionate about craft beer and the craft brewing industry
• Experience in Cellaring and Packaging a must.
Strong record keeping and time management skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions (verbal and written) and work independently
• Ability to lift 55 lbs repeatedly as needed.
