    -Chainline Brewing in Kirkland, WA is expanding and we need your help! We recently launched a brand-new production facility and are looking to add crucial team members to join and rise with our company. This position will start in the cellar and then expand to an Assistant Brewer role, with more growth and opportunities for the right individual.

    Essential duties for this position include the following:
    -CIP of Fermenters, Brite tanks and beer transfers under pressure.
    -Daily record keeping including: gravities, pH, carbonation and counting yeast cells.
    -Yeast management, harvesting, etc.
    -Dry hopping tanks and adhering to fine details when doing so.
    -Keg Washing and Filling: Maintaining kegging unit and ensuring strict QC when sending out product.
    -Packaging of other varieties: Occasionally we can some of our offerings and have a mobile canning company package our product.
    -Helping around the brewery: Milling, general cleaning, assisting brewers in daily tasks, etc.
    -Helping with occasional festivals and beer events.
    This position will be full time approximately 40 hours/week and operates Monday-Friday with rare weekend events. The ideal candidate would be someone with a great passion for craft beer, some experience and looking to learn more and improve their existing skills. We are also willing to train the right individual. Education is a bonus, but not necessary.

    Compensation:
    Pay is DOE with benefits

    Minimum Qualifications:
    - High School Diploma or GED
    -Ability to move kegs and other heavy items
    -Standing for long periods
    -Unafraid of water
    -21+
    -Love of beer, especially lagers

    Preferred Qualifications:
    -Outgoing personality, ability to socialize with and get along with others
    -Experience with CIP of tanks, transfers, carbonation and yeast management
    -Thirst for beer and all beer knowledge-professional beer schooling a huge plus
    -Independent work ethic and an eye for what needs to be done
    -Flexibility with day to day tasks
    -A love of Crispy Boi’s
    -Beer geek knowledge: able to talk about decoction mashing, the superiority of Czech pilsners and how polyphenols and protein binding contributes to haze (a plus plus plus)
