Hi ProBrewers! We are a new 10bbl start-up in Central Florida (conveniently located between Tampa and Orlando) - the first microbrewery in our town and part of the rapidly growing craft beer scene in our county. We are looking for the right person to fill the role of Head Brewer.
Who is the right person? It is someone with a minimum of 2 years of Head Brewer experience who has the talent, passion and desire to consistently produce a quality product, always following the appropriate safety protocols. If you have the qualifications we are seeking, you know what it takes to design, brew and sell great beer. You know what it takes to build a solid portfolio of core beers, but also like to get creative, developing specialty and seasonal brews. You also know what it takes to run and be responsible for the brewhouse – cellaring, inventory management, scheduling, cleaning, maintenance, troubleshooting, etc. The right person will work closely with brewery leadership and be an important and valued part of the management team.
We are looking to have our new Head Brewer in place no later than the beginning of January 2020, with a target opening date of mid to late February. Competitive salary and bonus plan will be based upon experience. For someone who would relocate to take this position, we have a 2/2 condo just minutes from the brewery available for rent (at a well below market rate for the first year) to help make your move as smooth as possible.
