Marker 48 Brewing in Weeki Wachee Florida is hiring a new Head Brewer.
Our beloved head brewer is leaving us to be with family out of state so we need someone that can fill his shoes.
The brewery has been operating for 4 years and produced roughly 1000bbls last year on a 7bbl system, with about 30% going into limited distribution. Located in Weeki Wachee Florida we are centrally located to both the Tampa Bay Area and Orlando with access to the Gulf of Mexico and surrounding natural Florida beauty just minutes west of us.
We are expanding our equipment, footprint and packaging so the candidate should have experience with ramping up production while maintaining a safe and quality process. This would include the introduction of a new brew house and additional fermentation space in 2020 as well as in-house packaging.
Our brewery team currently consists of a head brewer(this is what your applying for), lead brewer, cellar-man and a facilities manager. We have a small lab, RO capabilities, clean barrel and sour barrel program that will let the right person really find their creative genius.
