Mad Mole Brewing is an award-winning solar powered brewery in Wilmington, North Carolina looking to grow our team. We have a 7 BBL electric brewhouse with 7 and 15 BBL fermenters. We are currently looking to hire an Assistant Brewer/Cellarman to join our family of passionate beer enthusiasts. We are about to start our second year and are expanding our production facility to include multiple 30 BBL fermenters. This salaried position will include paid vacation and room for advancement.

Job responsibilities will include:
• Wort production
• Preparation for brew days
• Fermenter CIP
• Brite Tank CIP
• Brewhouse CIP
• Beer transfers
• Dry hopping
• Inventory management
• Collaborative recipe development
• Pilot brews
• Quality control
• Attend trade shows and brewing events as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• 1+ years brewery experience
• Knowledge of beer styles and recipe development
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Troubleshooting skills
• Fun, positive attitude
• Minimum 21 years of age
• HS or GED required, brewing degree a plus

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work long hours on your feet
• Ability to work in a hot, wet and loud environment
• Ability to crouch, bend, lift and reach
• Ability to remain focused and level-headed under demanding situations
• Ability to lift and move up to 55 lbs.
