Seeking experienced brewmaster with operational experience to grow small brewery with an entrepreneurial spirit in beautiful downtown Charleston,SC. Charleston has been named the best city in the world the past 9 years by Conde Nast Traveler.
To manage and lead brewery operations. Provide leadership with accurate, timely reports on
production and loss to ensure full compliance with TTB and South Carolina Department of Revenue.
Analytical and operational skills are a must to ensure production is efficiently managed
with taproom and distribution depletions. Ability to manage production schedule, recipe development
and resource planning. Must have prior brewery management experience.

2. Analytical and strategic thinking skills are critical to
maximize throughput, reduce waste and efficiently
manage beer production.
Taproom and one South Carolina distributor control inventory,
ordering and depletions. Product continuity on four CORE
brands are critical to grow business. Never run us out of CORE
products in taproom or distribution.
3. Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients
to ensure on time brew and packaging dates.
Record log of available hops, malt and yeast and
what ingredients are needed for upcoming brews.
4. Develop partner relationship with distributor partners.
Constant communication with our single distributor partner is
crucial. This includes distributor procurement, warehouse inventory
manager and sales managers. Establish relationship with key
decision makers in each department.
5. Deliver monthly forecast reports.
Monthly updates on taproom revenue, brewhouse production,
contract production and brews planned for upcoming month.
6. Manage Facilities, Compliance, Scheduling and Cleanliness.
Ensure all equipment is performing properly and is adequately
maintained to manufacturer recommendation. Ensure
brew floor is clean and all tanks are shiny and present excellent
appearance to patrons in taproom.
