    Job Summary:
    As a Territory Sales Manager, your role is ultimately charged with increasing the sales of the best tasting ales on the planet. You will be in charge of a territory including several high-volume distributors and a group of Firestone Walker full time Market Managers (MM). The Territory Sales Manager is in charge of leading a team with management responsibilities, development, and training. A key aspect of the role and critical factor to your success will be the business planning and relationship management of all distributors in the territory as well as growth of FW brands within each wholesaler. This includes direct account responsibility for key on and off-premise accounts, securing new distribution in existing and new accounts, and working closely with the distributor network in the assigned territory to maintain/develop all accounts.

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
    Specifically, the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
    • Support, guide, and train all MM direct reports
    • Check, confirm and ensure all reporting is accurate and timely from your MM direct reports
    • Conduct quarterly sales review meetings with distributor(s) with your sales managers
    • Set and evaluate sales and distribution goals for direct reports (MM)
    • Quarterly evaluation of each Distributor in your territory (performed at Quarterly review)
    • Development of key accounts in collaboration with National Accounts team
    • Manage chain execution with National Accounts Manager for Territory/chain
    • Complete a minimum of two Development Days in the market per month with each MM
    • Develop key events that feature FW brands
    • Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with account staff and distributor sales personnel
    • Travel to company sales meetings; participate in market blitzes in other territories, and otherwise work with other members of the FW team to execute/achieve the sales plan
    • Complete necessary administrative reporting and communications on a timely basis
    • Maintain all sales goals and personal budgets outlined to you and your territory
    • Achieve and/or maintain FW market and Quality standards in all territories.
    • Other duties as periodically assigned by your manager

    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree and at least three years prior industry experience in a beer/wine sales position as well as prior management experience
    • Ability to be a leader and manage a team of direct reports
    • Strong oral communication skills: ability to talk to others to convey information effectively; strong written communication skills
    • Strong persuasion skills: Ability to influence others decision making or persuading others to change their minds or behavior through superior skill and knowledge of all our beers and the craft beer community
    • Active Listening - This is the key to all sales presentation, understanding your retailer can only be achieved by listening to their needs and filling those needs
    • Excellent time management skills; ability to be proactive and take initiative
    • Excellent organization and coordination skills- detail oriented & able to manage priorities and routine functions effectively and efficiently
    • Social Perceptiveness - Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do
    • Negotiation - Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences
    • Proficiency with personal computers / laptops and associated programs (Windows, Microsoft office suite of programs and HR systems)
    • Decision making skills -collect, assess and interpret relevant information and make sound judgment
    • Valid Driver License with a good driving record, a reliable, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously
    • Cicerone, or other Beer certification strongly preferred
    • Must be available to work nights and weekends and work more than 40 hours per week; and lift and or move up to 50 pounds
    • MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE IN THE DESIGNATED TERRITORY (DENVER, CO)
    • MUST HAVE RELEVANT BEER/WINE/SPIRITS EXPERIENCE PREFERABLY IN THE BEER DISTRIBUTOR NETWORK

    Job Summary:
    As Business Development Manager (BDM), your role is ultimately charged with increasing the sales of the most awarded beers in America. A key aspect of the role and critical factor to your success is the business planning and relationship management for all distributors in the territory as well as growth of FW brands within each distributor. This position also includes indirect account responsibility for key on and off- premise accounts, by ensuring information has been accurately communicated so that Territory Sales Managers (TSM) & their teams are able to secure new distribution in existing and new top accounts, and by working closely with TSMs and the distributor network in the assigned territory to maintain/develop all accounts.

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
    Specifically, the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
    • Create annual territory plan (ABP) for Mountain West Region Distributors (Arizona Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and New Mexico)
    • Manage distributors daily for the Mountain West Region Distributors
    • Create & communicate all distributor programming
    • Manage chain executions with National Accounts Managers for the territory/chains
    • Act as the key contact person representing FW to all distributor management personnel
    • Evaluate and measure each distributor in the territory
    • Manage budgets and spending in the territory
    • Complete necessary administrative reporting on a timely basis
    • Collaborate with wholesaler purchasing agents and FW Beer Traffic Control on a weekly basis to ensure an adequate and fresh supply of product throughout the territory
    • Achieve FW’s market plan and sales goals
    • Follow and maintain yearly, quarterly, and monthly distribution and volume goals for each distributor
    • Establish and drive FW events plan for 2020
    • Become a preferred business partner at each distributor by being recognized as one of their best supplier managers
    • Participate in quarterly sales review meetings as required
    • Maintain knowledge of all key people within the distributors
    • Effectively communicate sales and promotional activity, monthly chain activity, pricing information, post off info, key target accounts lists, new products, and promotional calendars
    • Prepare and present to a monthly market analysis report with recommendations
