    Hi

Im not sure if i post the question correct here

But, how do you calculate the amount of glycol/water mix needed on Unitanks?

    Thanks

      Hello Fredi,

The total amount of glycol that you need in your system can be calculated by multiplying the total system volume by 0.35. To find the volume on your unitank jackets you will likely need to reach out to your tank manufacturer, who should be able to tell you that portion of the volume.

The volume in your piping can be calculated assuming you know the total length of pipe and the inner diameter of the piping used.

Hi Fredi, the glycol ratio at 35% is OK. We need to know include the volume:
        1) Glycol water tank
        2) Fermenters jacket volume
        3) The volume in glycol piping
As to jacket volume and glycol piping volume, the supplier can give you specific information according to the design.

For more information, contact me freely.

Not really, and seems a bit of small, will be based on the reservoirs size in side of chiller,

Is it working for you indoors and quiet enough, or have it outside?
I have it inside. as loud as an aircondition. still going strong
