We need more people! Rahr & Sons Brewing Company began in 2004 in Fort Worth, Texas. We currently produce 6 year-round beers, four 6-pack seasons, and 10 specialty four-packs. The brewery is expanding, and we need another capable person to join an excited, hard-working, quality-focused team. Our beer is available in numerous states now, not just Texas. We are rapidly growing and brewing as much beer as possible to meet demand. To meet that demand, we need more packaging technicians to get our tasty beer into cans and kegs. This is an entry-level job offering room to grow as we expand our operation.
Job Title: Packaging Technician
Supervisors: Packaging Manager, Director of Operations
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Palletize cans coming out of the canning line
• Load cans into depalletizer
• Clean and maintain canning line and area
• CIP kegging line
• Operate kegging line to clean and fill kegs
• Clean and maintain kegging line and area
Other duties can include:
• Brand representative at events and festivals
• Support of sales staff
• Operate forklift when needed
Key Skills and Qualifications
• Self-starter, independent thinker, mature and confident personality
• Adaptability to changing circumstances and priorities
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, Email, etc.
• 21 years or older
• Able to lift 55lb and move full kegs
• Ability to bring good conversation when drinking quality beer
• Appreciation of coffee and the Wu-Tang Clan
