Mainstay Independent Brewing is looking for a hardworking, and talented brewer to join our team.
Mainstay Independent will produce over 2000 BBL in its first year.
We are looking for a brewer to be involved in all of the brewing and beer delivery tasks.
Minimum Requirements:
•3 years brewery experience and/or brewing education
• Basic knowledge of brewing science and yeast handling
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting and repair knowledge
• Working knowledge of brewing processes and procedures
• Creative problem solving
• Inventory management
• Some computer and software skills
• Ability to take direction and accept constructive criticism
• Strong ability to multi-task
• A passion for craft beer
• Willingness to represent the brewery at tours and occasional events.
• Valid driver's licence.
Physical Requirements Include:
• Ability to lift 60 pounds and move 165 pounds safely.
• Ability to work in a wet environment with humidity, steam, and heat or cold.
• Ability to bend, twist, kneel, climb stairs often
• Endurance to work long shifts when needed
