    The Brewer/Cellarperson position requires a solid, functional understanding of all brewing and cellaring process, best practices, and safety considerations. Strong mechanical skills and the ability to diagnose/troubleshoot technical issues is imperative. The ability to work both independently and within a team setting is critical, and time management is of the utmost importance.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Punctuality
    • Work on a rotating shift schedule between the hours of 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM, Monday through
    Friday
    • Work on weekends
    • Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment
    • Maintain quality control and safety standards
    • Yeast handling/harvesting
    • Basic brewery laboratory techniques
    • Safely handle cleaning and sanitizing chemicals
    • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
    • Manage multiple processes at one time
    • Safely work in confined spaces on occasion
    • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 55 lbs.
    • Possess or immediately acquire forklift operation certification (at employer’s expense)
    • Have completed Brewers’ Association online safety training modules, or agree to do so within 14
    days from date of hire
