Head Brewer - Victor 23 Brewing Vancouver, WA

Victor 23 Brewing in Vancouver, WA is looking for our next head brewer. We are searching for someone to take over who has the enthusiasm, know how, and drive to brew great beer for our pub and local distribution partners! Management is committed to making the best beer possible and having a good time doing it. Victor 23 is a DB Cooper / aviation themed brewery and pub located in Vancouver, WA.


Requirements;
• Wort production in our 10 bbl brewhouse
• Cellar operations
• Packaging
• Yeast management
• Communicate with owner and distributors
• Maintain and troubleshoot brewery equipment
• Properly record all brew house activities
• Keep brewery area clean
• Formulate recipes and procure raw materials
• Interact and collaborate with other local brewers


Requirements of the job
• Must be able to lift 55-165 lb kegs, carry grain sacks, work in tight quarters on a daily basis.
• Must be a team player and will to work and listen to others.
• Formal training is a plus but if you don’t have that you should have extensive brewing experience.
