Brewer wanted to join our team at Calibration Brewery, a well-established 7 bbl Brewery/Brewpub in North Kansas City. We are looking for a Head Brewer that is able to continueto create new and interesting beers, as well as continue to produce the beers that we have been making for years.
Knowledgeable and experienced candidates with the right mixture of education and experience are a must. Experience brewing a variety of beer styles in 5 - 30 bbl scale, and familiaritywith recipe development is highly preferred. Professionalism, solid understanding of beverage production and cleaning practices, good people skills, attention to detail, reliability and honesty are critical. Other critical skills are the ability to workunsupervised producing quality product, self-starter, mechanical aptitude, lifting up to 55 lb repeatedly and moving heavier loads as required. Familiarity with cellar and serving equipment is required. Accurate record keeping of all brew house activity. Ordering all ingredients for beer production.
Forklift certification is preferred.
Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, cramped environments that require kneeling, bending, lifting, pushing, etc.
