The Virginia Beer Company is an award winning and growing production brewery and taproom located in Williamsburg, VA. We currently distribute from Virginia Beach to Richmond with expansions to Northern Virginia and Charlottesville in the works in the coming months as well as some international distribution.
We're currently hiring for a Packaging and Quality Lead to manage and run our canning and kegging operations as well as take over some lab duties including running our Invisible Sentinel PCR program in the lab, Anton Paar CBox and other quality lab activities. Packaging duties will include running and maintenance of our 4 head Alpha canning line and SKA depal, assisting with kegging operations, and some small scale bottling.
Prior experience running a canning line and lab experience are greatly desired, though we're willing to train the right person.
Mechanical aptitude, willingness to work hard and a can-do attitude are most certainly required.
Williamsburg is a great college town with a growing beer and food scene. Quality of life is excellent- you're an easy day trip to the beach or the mountains, whatever your fancy.
