    Position: Sales Manager On & Off Premise Level: Full-time / Salary + Bonus Structure

    Job Description:
    Grow Crystal Lake Brewing’s sales in Northern Illinois at both on and off-premise retail accounts. Work closely with distributors to creatively gain product placements, merchandising, sampling and promotional opportunities. Increase brand awareness through media opportunities and consumer interactions. Develop strong distributor and retail account relationships, manage freshness and quality in the market and continu- ously seek out new sales as well as growing incremental sales in existing accounts. Partner with Leadership Team to move products and promotions from conception to implementation in the market and manage the full product supply chain and inventory from brewing schedule to delivery at retail.

    Essential Duties:
    • Spend approximately 80+% of work week in designated territory(s) executing account visits with distribu- tor reps and visiting accounts independently.
    • Sell in the full portfolio of CLB beers to on and off premise retailers.
    • Look for areas to increase CLB’s presence in the market through merchandising, promotions, festivals and
    display opportunities and execute accordingly.
    • Develop and maintain “preferred brewery” status with CLB distributor and retail partners.
    • Communicate feedback and results of CLB’s performance in the market to Leadership Team. Contribute to
    assessing sales data and make recommendations for events and overall trade strategy.
    • Meet or exceed goals on a monthly/quarterly basis while working in an independent environment and
    report results weekly.
    • Create and adhere to a schedule for distributor work with’s, accounts visits and promotional events.
    • Work directly with Brewmaster to manage the full product supply chain and inventory from brewing
    schedule to delivery at retail.
    • Manage all distributor inventory, incoming orders, pick up dates, product allocation and invoicing.
    • Actively work with a variety of chain retailers; being the primary point of contact for CLB on all pricing,
    item approval and promotional aspects of local, regional and national account management.
    • Seek out new opportunities for growing market presence in N. Il. Maintain calendar of outside events
    and promotions for entire company.

    Candidate Requirements:
    • 3-5 years experience in the beer, sales, or hospitality industry.
    • Have a thorough understanding of the 3-tier system and ILCC/TTB rules and regulations
    • Must be comfortable designing and delivering effective sales presentations
    • Must be highly motivated, able to balance priorities from a variety of sources and work independently
    with minimal daily oversight.
    • Possess a strong knowledge of beer styles, regional market trends and craft beer industry.
    • Possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and comfort level speaking to a
    group or one on one.
    • Maintain a professional, approachable appearance and demeanor. Keep the best interest of CLB top of
    mind. Remain safe and responsible in environments where alcohol is served.
    • Must have a High School Diploma. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
    • Must maintain open availability; including weekends, evenings and some holidays.
    • Must reside in northern Illinois, possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and have a
    reliable means of transportation to execute job responsibilities.
    • Be able to lift 20lb beer cases and manipulate 160lb kegs.
