Title: Delivery, Packaging & Warehouse Person
Overview: Delivery of Migration Brewing products, Warehouse, Shipping and Packaging. Maintain production and warehouse floor in accordance with cleanliness and safety standards set forth by Management.
Classification: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Head Brewer
Primary Responsibilities:
Product delivery to pub locations, bars, restaurants and events including delivery of finished goods and raw materials
Pickup from product vendors, suppliers and distributors as needed
Assist with packaging/labeling needs assigned by Head Brewer
Prepare and build pallets, in accordance with PO’s. Ensure pallets and orders are completed prior to due date and scheduled deliveries
Maintain clean brewery floors and coolers, ensuring all areas meet brewery standards
Maintain grain storage, cold storage and disposal areas in accordance with brewery standards
General brewery maintenance and cleaning, ensuring production floor and warehouse areas are neat, clean and meets safety standards
Interact with customers in a positive manner, ensuring products meets their satisfaction
Be available to answer any customer questions and speak knowledgeably about Migration Brewing products
Notify Head Brewer immediately of any customer complaints and or safety concerns within the brewery
Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles and properly represent the brewery during deliveries
Knowledge & Skills:
Eye for detail and the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Excellent customer service skills
Reliable & punctual
Time management skills and sense of urgency
Must have a reliable smartphone, computer and is proficient in email and google doc’s
Ability to keep a clean work environment and meet all food safety standards
Ability to work as a cooperative and positively contributing team member
Education & Work Experience:
Current driver’s license and ability to meet insurance standards.
Ability to stand for 8-10 hours, bend and lift up to 150lbs and use a hand truck
Work in both hot and cold environments as well as safely maneuver slippery and or uneven surfaces
Forklift Certification preferred
