    Mother Kombucha is seeking a full time (30+ hours per week) Cellar Person. This position plays a vital role in the quality of our finished product!

Our products are certified organic, vegan and kosher and we hold annual third party GMP/food safety audits. Our kombucha is lowest in sugar/calories in the category and pairs perfectly with foods.

    Responsibilities:
    
Cleaning and Sanitizing of all tanks and fermenters, utilizing excellent sanitation techniques and following SOPs and food safety requirements.

    Cleaning and maintaining parts and equipment including hoses, clamps, gaskets, carb stones.

    Transferring, filtering, carbonation and kegging of product.

    Safe handling on cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.

    Housekeeping tasks - mopping, sweeping, drain sanitation.

    Assist/fill in on packaging line.

    Compliance with all GMP, OSHA, Organic and QA processes which will include participation in at least one oversight team.

    Timely completion of all required documentation for GMP, Organic and HACCP standards.


    Requirements:

    Strong mechanical and problem solving skills - working with gauges, valves, pumps, pallet jack, CO2.

    Strong understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations.

    Excellent organizational and communication skills.

    Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand on feet for 8+ hours a day, twist/turn/reach over head and work in standing/walking/crouch positions and on a ladder all at a steady pace.

    Preferred:

    Previous cellar and food safety experience strongly preferred.
