Head Brewer for our 15 bbl brewery
3 years brewing experience in a commercial setting of comparable size.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
-Produce excellent beer
-Manage and train cellar staff
-Manage and train sales staff and Tap Room team
-Troubleshooting maintenance
-Recipe development
-TTB submittals; keg collars, labels
-Raw material ordering and maintain/record inventories
-Yeast Management; harvesting, cell viability, pitching, etc.
-Cellar Operations; fermentation management, CIP, transfers, clarification, etc.)
-Document required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Record all brew house activities in brew house software (EKOS).
-lift up to 55 lbs and move 160 lbs as needed.
-Maintain equipment and other areas of the brewery and facilities.
-Fill, clean and organize kegs which includes maintaining keg washer.
-Ensure cleanliness of all areas of the brew house.
-wood aged beer experience
-sour beer experience
-canning line run over supervision
