    JOB TITLE: VICE PRESIDENT OF BREWING OPERATIONS
    Job Summary: The Vice President of Brewing Operations is a regular, full-time, salaried position responsible for the overall performance of brewing operations at Revolver Brewing. Primary focus will be placed on activities relating to the manufacturing process and productivity improvements in the areas of brewing, packaging, safety, quality assurance, engineering, supply chain and maintenance. The Vice President of Brewing Operations will be a member of the leadership team and participate in the planning, development and execution of key business objectives associated with the overall Revolver Brewing strategic business plan. The position will report directly to the President.
    Essential Job Functions:
    • Identify and implement best practices in all areas of the brewing, packaging, safety, quality assurance, engineering, supply chain and maintenance. Includes designing and continually improving audit processes that effect all operations
    • Lead the organizational development, talent assessment and succession planning throughout brewing operations
    • Design and oversee maintenance of brewery systems and key performance indicators for brewery operations
    • Identify opportunities to improve gross margin performance throughout operations with targeted cost reductions and improved efficiencies
    • Develop specific short-term and long-term plans for forecasted production needs of up to 50,000 barrels, together with supporting budget requests and financial estimates
    • Benchmark key metrics of success for brewing operations systems against the industry’s best practices or standards
    • Provides input and support to the leadership team in the development of collaborations, affiliations and partnership arrangements
    • Provide support, leadership and promote conformity to all organizational policies and procedures
    • Develop, maintain and sustain all safety related organizational protocols and training procedures. Responsible for developing a safety culture that all employees recognize as paramount to organizational success with a focus on continual improvement
    • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the President

    • Judgment - the individual displays willingness to make executive decisions, exhibits sound & accurate judgment and makes timely decisions in the best interests of the company

    Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
    Minimum of 5+ years of brewery managerial experience with full operations production responsibility, employee performance management, safety and regulatory compliance. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Brewing Science or related field.
    Candidate must have exemplary knowledge of all aspects of the craft beer industry and brewing processes, effective oral & written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office software.
    The candidate should possess a strong understanding of all areas of safety and equipment design particular to a production brewery. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong skill set related to mechanical, electrical and industrial systems as they pertain to an engineering setting.
    Ideal candidate should be an energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image. Candidate should be a strategic thinker with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus. The ideal candidate should be an exemplary educator who is trustworthy and willing to share information and serve as a mentor within the organization.
    Preferred Qualifications: Previous managerial brewery operations experience in a craft brewery or similar industry capacity with 8+ years’ experience. Additional certification in Lean Manufacturing programs and processes is a plus. Project management experience within brewery operations is desired.
