We are looking to hire a self-motivated, detail oriented individual to help us with our wine making and production operations. In this position, you will work as part of the production team to produce our award-winning wines and assist in our brewery operations. We currently produce over 2,100 cases of wine and 172 bbls per year.
Primary responsibilities will include:
• Daily wine making operations (starting, racking, degassing, filtering, etc.)
• Bottling of wine & specialty beer releases
• Assisting on brew days (milling, mashing in, cleaning, sanitation, etc.)
• Cleaning and sanitizing
• Accurate record keeping and data analysis
• Assisting with inventory & preparation of wholesale orders
• Maintaining quality standards of existing recipes
• General production cleanliness
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience as a commercial winemaker/brewer or assistant winemaker/brewer
• An understanding of the wine making process from start-to-finish
• Working knowledge of sanitation practices
• A passion for the craft industry
• Self-starter who can work independently and in a team.
• A desire to help grow production operations
• A mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
• Physical strength to lift 55lb bags
• Flexible work schedule
