    Responsibilities:
    -Operate the canning line, including all auxiliary equipment.
    -Fill kegs of finished product by hand.
    -Supervise and direct packaging assistants to accomplish all packaging goals.
    -Assist in implementing and documenting standard operating procedures as the pertain to packaging and warehouse operations.
    -Maintain and organize packaging warehouse, staging area and cold product storage cooler.
    -CIP and SIP of Canning line and auxiliary equipment.
    -Troubleshoot mechanical problems with packaging equipment, coordinating with facilities manager.
    -Train and supervisee new hires in canning line and kegging operations.
    -Maintain accuracy of low-fill sensors and scales to ensure product quality.
    -Keep and maintain working inventory of all packaged product and packaging materials.
    -Assist with bottle necks in production, including CIP of fermentation vessels and brite tanks, carbonation adjustments, and minor filtration.
    -Prepare outgoing shipments of products.
    -Safely loads and unloads all incoming and outgoing shipments.
    -Inspects all incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or inaccuracies.
    -Maintains a clean warehouse and packaging area.
    -Maintain and restock keg inventory for the tasting room on a biweekly basis, or as needed.
    -Maintain and clean draft lines for tasting room.
    -Fill in for delivery driver on an as-needed basis.
    -Other tasks as needed.

    Requirements:
    -In-depth understanding and love for the craft brewing industry and culture.
    -Basic understanding of QA and QC basics as it pertains to processing and packaging beer.
    -Attention to detail and safety.
    -Able to work in a team environment.
    -Possess a moderate technical or mechanical aptitude.
    -Ability to multitask while still maintaining a focus on quality.
    -Some flexibility of schedule in case of extreme circumstances.
    -Ability to stretch, kneel, bend, twist, push, pull, stand, crawl, and walk for the duration of the shift.
    -Ability to repeatedly lift 55 +/- lbs. and safely maneuver up to 180 lbs.
    -Self-started and self-motivated.
    -Ability to operate brewery production equipment and forklifts.
    -Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, and loud environments.
    -Ability to safely operate both stand-up and sit-down style forklifts.
    -Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a non-commercial delivery vehicle.

    This is a full time position with benefits. Hours are generally similar to standard office hours, but may require flexibility at times.
