Brew Monkey Beer Company is a new brewery in San Antonio, TX. We are a production brewery with a tap room looking to make a splash in the San Antonio market. Our beer will be served in the tap room and will be distributed to the greater San Antonio area. We will be brewing classic craft styles of beer to the highest degree of excellence. At Brew Monkey, good enough simple isn’t.
We are looking for a driven individual who is not afraid of long hours helping our patrons have the best beer experience possible. Integrity and trust are of the upmost importance. This employee will need to be self-motivated with an excellent eye for details. The ideal employee is someone who wants to grow with Brew Monkey and become a long-term employee of the company
This is a full-time hourly job.
Primary Duties
-Oversee all aspects of the taproom and taproom customers experience
-Beer-tend on occasion.
-Attend staff meetings
-Participate in sensory panels
-Delivery of kegs occasionally
-Maintain accurate and current accounts and sales
-Manage inventory
-Have a schedule of taproom activities
-Have a schedule of food trucks
-Schedule taproom employees
-Handle transactions on a daily basis
-Oversee the cleanliness of the taproom
-Seasonal decoration of taproom
-Know about all served beers
-Educate taproom employees about beer styles and proper pouring
-Set up and maintain SOP for taproom
Requirements
-3+ years of food/bar serving experience; management experience preferred
-Knowledge of all beer styles
-Cicerone Beer Server or higher recommended
-Physically be able to bend over, twist, kneel, climb stairs, stand all day, lift 55+ pounds
-Able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8-10 hours per day).
-Drive a small truck with a clean driving record.
-High school degree
-Must be 21 or older
-Must be able to work weekends and nights
-Self-starter and problem solver
