Logistics and production support for the brewery and bar relies on our off-site warehouse in Woodside, Queens, about 15-minute drive from our production facility. The Warehouse Manager will report to the Head Brewer and work closely with both the Head Brewer and GM of the front of house operation at Citi Field. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently as well as part of a greater team, as well as being responsible for working with and supervising additional warehouse staff when appropriate. Inventory and accuracy:
Accountable for inventory accuracy on monthly counts
Accurate picks for out-going shipments
Verification of in-coming orders
Logistics management:
Ensure shipments are ready for timely pickup
Work independently and with freight broker to schedule and optimize time and cost
Physically delivery beer when necessary
Maintain relationship with bar and brewery managers to facilitate inventory transfers
Capable of maintaining personal schedule as well as oversee assistant
Maintenance/Facility:
Maintain positive relationship with Landlord and warehouse neighbors
Ensure fleet is properly maintained (vehicle inspection/insurance, normal maintenance)
Facility upkeep (utility reporting, lights, heaters functioning, oil delivery scheduling)
General Requirements:
Ability to lift 88lb safely
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Capable of driving 28’ truck in urban environment
High School Diploma/GED
2+ Warehouse experience, management experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strict organization skills
