Second Line Brew is searching for a highly motivated, well-organized individual with a passion for great beer to join our team. Second Line Brewing has grown at a significant pace since opening in 2015 and as a Sales Manager you will be responsible for continuing to grow these sales, while providing input into product development opportunities and achieving target volume goals. This position is a 40+hr work week with some weekend and evening obligations. You will be required to adapt your schedule to meet the needs of the position.

Responsibilities
• Be a brand ambassador for Second Line Brewing both on and off the job
• Provide input and align with the rest of our team on sales strategy & execution
• Network with industry/chain buyers and build relationships with key employees at accounts to maintain and grow account relationships
• Work with key distributor personnel on a regular basis
• Create and schedule events within account base to help grow both the brand and sales. Seek out additional event opportunities (festivals, tasting events, beer dinners,
etc.) and execute all promotional events, tastings and special events that may occur on weekday evenings as well as weekends
• Contribute to social media posts and product promotion
• Elicit feedback from the market on what things could help move the brand further towards its goals
• Conduct ongoing brand training with retailers and consumers to forecast consumer trends
• Perform administrative tasks (monthly work calendar, sales tracking/forecasting, distributor & in-house POS inventory, market pricing assessment, expense reports and
inputting such into Excel)
• Assist at all in-house events and festivals as needed
• Effectively utilize resources available to improve efficiency and drive sales

Qualifications
• A sense of integrity and a professional work ethic
• Significant beer knowledge (preference given to those who have completed some level of Cicerone certification)
• Strong knowledge of craft beer, the industry, and its retail customers
• Independent self-starter / highly self-motivated
• Excellent oral, analytical, written, and communication skills
• Well kempt, clean and professional appearance
• Reliable transportation
• Proficient with Microsoft Office specifically Excel (pivot tables, graphing, data analysis)
• Able to track sales visits via Outfield and Excel
• Must be able to represent Second Line Brewing in a professional and responsible manner
• Connections in New Orleans area bars and restaurants are a plus
• Education/Experience: BS/BA in business administration, marketing, communications or relevant field or 4+ years experience in outside sales.
• Valid driver’s license with no alcohol related offenses
• Flexible schedule: available to work evenings/nights as needed
