    Green Bench Brewing Co. is located in St. Petersburg, Florida and has been in operation for 6 ½ years. Having just completed an expansion project with equal focus placed on increasing our production capabilities and improving our on-site retail/tasting room experience, we are looking for a Director of Sales to help us continue our positive momentum.
    Main Job Responsibilities Include:

    1. Promotion and Sales of Green Bench Products
    a. Regularly visit accounts and sell in beer/cider.
    b. Be able to prioritize and manage time needed at accounts vs. in the office.
    c. Direct and assist your team with tap takeovers/spotlights/samplings etc. to promote our brands.
    d. Determine which events, and what type of events, are effective and worth the effort.
    e. Regularly analyze cost of POS/give-a-ways to ensure effectiveness of such capital outlays.
    f. Learn (or already know) VIP proficiently.
    g. Work with our production/packaging team to ensure the appropriate logistics for all distributor pick-ups.

    2. Daily Work With All Distribution Partners
    a. Regularly set up ride-along’s (for both you and your sales team) with the distributor beer reps.
    b. Focus efforts on relationship building with each distributor’s leadership and teams.
    c. Ensure that distributor reps have a basic understanding of the Green Bench products they are selling.
    d. Work with Product Managers to create purchase orders and set up product pick up.
    e. Communicate new placements, new account possibilities, and new products with the product mangers/reps in
    a timely manner.
    f. Create distributor goals and objectives that effectively communicate our strategy.

    3. Home Base Connection/Expectations
    a. If needed, willing to help with large events at the brewery.
    b. Spend time building relationships with other employees at Green Bench.
    c. Maintain a thorough understanding of our process, procedures, and upcoming beer/cider projects.
    d. Participate and engage with what’s going on in-house.

    4. Fulfill Full Time Employee Obligations
    a. Expectation is to work a full 40 hours a week.
    b. Manage hours worked around evening/weekend events (balance).

    5. Create and Manage Strategy
    a. Create sales strategies and implement them.
    b. Establish benchmarks to accurately measure results.
    c. Always be thinking outside the typical “craft” sales strategy play book.
    d. Work with Head Brewer/CFO/COO to create sales based strategies and goals. Discuss overall vision for the
    brand and our sales.
    e. Remain flexible as the markets change. Be willing to tweak our approach.
    f. Track monthly/quarterly sales against our budget/forecasts.

    6. Manage GB Sales Representatives
    a. Work with sales representatives and enable them to perform effectively.
    b. Create commission structures for sales reps based on their individual motivations and our company sales
    goals.
    c. Manage sales representative’s work/vacation/holiday schedules.
    d. Delegate sales rep territory boundaries, and time spent in them, and adjust to focus on specific markets as
    needed.
    e. Be open to receiving input (and listening) to sales rep ideas and discern which, if any, to implement.
    f. Help sales reps stay engaged with our company and culture as a whole.

    Additional Qualifications:
    - Time Management and outstanding Organizational Skills
    - Clear communication skills (easy for distributors, retailers, in-house employees to contact and converse with).
    - Ability to use Excel and/or Google Sheets
    - Self-motivated (there will be little, to no, micro-managing)
    - Honest, respectful of others, and disciplined
    - Flexibility and the ability to maintain a positive attitude
