Gearblock Brewing Company will be a craft micro-brewery with tasting room that will offer fresh varieties of high quality hand crafted ales, lagers, stouts, sours, barrel aged beers and everything in between. It will use locally sourced ingredients when available, brewing unique small batches of beer to be able to shift gears at any moment. Our specialty beers will be torque infused that are imperial in nature and with only a few core beers available, we will offer rotating new and exciting beers on tap regularly. Customer’s will be able enjoy their beer in our tasting room or take home via crowler or growler fills. The tasting room will incorporate a unique and inviting atmosphere with industrial charm which will complete the vision of great beer with great company.
Bergen County is one of the most restrictive counties in New Jersey when it comes to liquor laws and licenses. This area has been deprived of excellent quality beer for many years and Gearblock Brewing wants to offer people another option to drink fresh local beer without driving 20 minutes (without traffic) to another brewery. At first Gearblock Brewing will depend mostly on tasting room sales so a unique tasting room is a must, this is a growing market and we need to stand out before someone else does. Gearblock Brewing will be inviting and different, offering trendy and traditional beers without the unneeded travel time to get to another brewery.
