Mother Road Brewing Company seeks a Production Manager to manage our brewing operations in Flagstaff, Arizona. Over the course of eight years, we have grown from brewing 650 barrels in 2011 to 12,798 barrels in 2019. Mother Road Brewing Co. plans to brew 17,500 barrels of taxable beer in 2020 - and for greater expansion in 2020.
The Production Manager’s main objective is to manage brewing operations, working with each sub-department [wort production, cellar, packaging, quality] to achieve their goals. The Production Manager is to achieve this by keeping the team accountable to standards, scheduling based on goals, troubleshooting problems with the brewing team, maintaining proper inventory.
Key Job Responsibilities Include:
Behaves as a cultural and leadership role model by exemplifying Mother Road’s mission and values
Schedules brewing processes
Directs improvements to process flow
Tracks KPIs
Assists interdepartmental communication
Maintains and is accountable for inventory tracking systems
Commissions, installs, and trains on new equipment
Is responsible for preventative maintenance plans
