  • Hot water for sinks. How hot

I do not have hot water near my bar. So I need to put a small hot water heater under the bar for the hand washing sink.
Does anyone know if it needs to hit a certain temp? Im trying to figure out how big of a hot water heater I need.

    Thx

120F should be the maximum, 100F should be minimum. In fact, most plumbing codes requires a blending valve to insure water at the faucet is not over 120F.

Thx guys. There is no temp rating. It states must be "adiquit" for hand washing but there is no temp stated. But it does state must have a blender in it.

I found a couple solutions. Instant hot water heater or a 4/5 gal 120v water heater under the bar.

Does anyone use this type of setup under the bar? Pros or cons?

This is what we used. I think it would be cheaper than installing a hot water heater at the sink.

That's a blender and required. But you still need a heat source. Where's your hot water fine from?
